FIRST GAME
SCT Batch 2003 outclassed SCT Batch 2001; Score 52 – 42
SCT Batch 2003 scored an 8-0 run in the first minutes of the ballgame as Calvin Edwards and Joel Rosalia provided the sparks that saw Batch 2003 leading all the way to the finish.
Rosalia top scored with 16 points, all from the shaded lane, while Edwards provided the run and gun type of play to score a total of 10 points, as SCT Batch 2003 won their first game.
Batch 2003 even got the biggest lead at 30 points going into the fourth quarter, but Batch 2001, refusing to give up, sparked with a 20-2 run that trimmed down the lead to just 10 points in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter. Too late the hero for Batch 2001, as they went home with a sorry loss to SCT Batch 2003, but promised to get back at them in the next round.
Better luck next time Batch 2001!
SECOND GAME
SCT Batch 90 beat SCT Batch 94; Score 58 - 47
SCT Batch 90 taught some lessons to their younger counterpart as they went home with a win over SCT Batch 94 to the tune of 58 – 47.
Roden Alba of SCT Batch 90 posted a silent 9 points for his team. A balance and smooth running team, SCT Batch 90 proved that age does not matter when it comes to basketball. Defense, timing and focus are the key to this very precious win.
Gian Liorente scored 8 points for Batch 94.
THIRD GAME
SCT Batch 98 won over SCT Batch 96 with a thrilling 88-85 score via a 3-Point Bomb of Ding Reyes with 15.5 seconds remaining.
DING REYES, made the shot of his life by sinking-in a 3-Point bomb in the last 15.5 seconds of the ballgame that gave his team their first win of the season. Tied at 85 all, Reyes, with pure guts and determination, made the 3-point shot to the delight and cheer of everybody in the gym.
The game is a see-saw battle from start to finish, proving that both teams are matched in terms of size, depth and skills. But for the night, it was the heroic efforts of Reyes that spelled the difference. He made three (3) 3-point bombs in the second half.
DOMINIC CONDINO topscored for SCT Batch 98 with 15 markers supported by GILBERT LORENZO with 12 points. Hot hand JOHN “Bok” MANOSCA carried the loads for SCT Batch 96 with a career high 30 points, including two 3-pointers in the 2nd quarter, but were not enough to secure a W.

SCT Batch 87 secured their 2nd win of the season by topping SCT FACULTY Team of Mr. Luna in the first game of our triple header. Score: 53 – 45
WILLIE GUALLAR scattered four rainbow shots for his team to lead all scorers with 18 points and captured the BEST PLAYER OF THE GAME AWARD. Allan Lopez provided the needed help with 18 points as well. Batch 87, the oldest team in the league, proves that age is just a number.
Having a very good ball rotation and bull strong presence in the shaded lane, SCT Batch 87 is the Boss…
SCT Faculty Team was again led by the duo of Robert Perpetua with 16 points and and Arlon Oco with 10 points to post their second straight loss of the season.

SCT BATCH 2004 triumphed over SCT BATCH 2000 for their first win of the season; Score: 71 - 51
Wreaking havoc since the start of the ballgame, SCT Batch 2004 completely imposed dominance over SCT Batch 2000 as RALPH JASON CONTREVIDA, BERNARD MAGALING (living up to his surname) and DANNY TAPALES, combined for a total of run-and-gun 41 points to lead SCT BATCH 2003 past SCT BATCH 2000.
It was all SCT BATCH 2003 showing great passing plays and complete team efforts overpowering their opponent.
JAY BERNARDO led SCT Batch 2000 with 15 markers.

SCT Batch 89 wins their second consecutive game, topping an equally deserving SCT BATCH 88; 2 Sets to 0
SCT Batch 89 Girls Volleyball Team showed an impressive performance to grab the Number ONE spot in the SCT-ASUL Volleyball Division, 2 Wins and 0 loss. 1st set belongs to SCT BATCH 89, 25-19 and 2nd set also belongs to them 25-23. They have never loss a single set since the start of the league, besting BATCH 99 last week as well. Teamwork and focus is the key…
To the SCT Batch 89 Volleyball Girls: Ria, Anna, Rachel, Gina, Jocelyn, Nimfa, Elvira, Tere, May, Noreen, Jasmine and Jocelyn… Hooray to all of you!

SCT BATCH 99 Demolished SCT BATCH 96 via score 90-69.
ANTHONY STA. ANA, for the second game in a row, displayed his basketball brilliance and artistry as he led Batch 99 anew to a victory, with another career best 34 points, with 28 points scored in the first half alone. A surprised sterling performance was played by RAMIR GABUTINA of SCT Batch 99 as he supported Sta. Ana with his own versatility with 34 superlative points including three 3-point bombs in the fourth quarter. The duo combined for 68 of the total 90 points of SCT BATCH 99 as a Super Duper Duo.
The two players jointly bagged the BEST PLAYERS OF THE GAME plum.
For the second time in a row, SCT BATCH 96 was again led by JOHN “BOK” MANOSCA with an MVP like performance and a career high 44 points but was again, failed to get support from his teammates and was not enough to get a win over a more talented, younger and deeper line-up of SCT BATCH 99
SECOND GAME
SCT BATCH 2003 got the notched for a solo lead in Bracket D as they posted their second consecutive win with a complete demolition of SCT BATCH 2000. Score: 70 - 38
ALVIN EDWARDS scored 24 points, including two 3-point bombs in the first quarter to lead SCT BATCH 2003 for their second win in a row versus a struggling SCT BATCH 2000 TEAM.
Getting enough support from his team, Edwards scattered points all over the floor and bagged the BEST PLAYER OF THE GAME AWARD.
Now 2 wins and no loss, SCT BATCH 2003 is looking forward to a dominating presence in the league. JP Morales provided the scoring chores for SCT BATCH 2000 as he posted 15 points for the team. SCT BATCH 2000 now has 2 losses in a row.

SCT BATCH 89 wins over BATCH 88
SCT BATCH 88 valiantly fought ‘till the end by erasing a 17 point deficit going into the fourth quarter only to vow by just 1 point, 83-82 to a just lucky team, SCT BATCH 89. SCT BATCH 89 collapsed and obviously shows lack of poise in the 4th quarter that almost took the game away from them, had Reinerr Santos made the 2 free throws with 1.6 seconds remaining in the game. It’s pure LUCK for Batch 89.
SCT Batch 88 tied the ballgame at 60 in the fourth quarter, from a high of 17 points, and almost won the game, but 2 missed free throws caused them their loss. It was just their first loss in 2 games and vowed to get back at the winning track in their next games.
DABOY Del Rosario topscored for Batch 88 with 20 points and ably supported by Ulysess Portento and Reinerr Santos.
